I get the same call almost every week night around 6pm. I answered it once and got the credit card message. I just let it ring now everytime.

I press 1 and an agent comes on the line. I inform them to remove my number immediately and they hang up on me. This has happened three times now.

Received a call tonight about credit card interest being reduced, and then asked if I wanted further information to press "1", or if I don't want to receive anymore of these messages to press "3". I did press "3" but now maybe regret it. What if it is a scam to use my long distance time?

Ha! That's funny. They've been calling my house since last summer. I have tried not answering, they call back the same day and everyday thereafter. It went on for weeks.I talked to the representative, and one time he said something foul to me, then hung up, I've tried pressing three to be removed, the calls continue. They are relentless.

Refuses to remove number from call list. Refuses to give name of company.

Got this call everyday for 14+ days now. pressed 3 didn't work. Filed complaint to CRTC DNCL didn't work either. What else can I do?

Both of us have picked up calls at home at various times over the past few months from this phone #. After trying everything to get them to stop, I have decided to simply ignore them now. These annoying calls will no longer have any emotional-power in our household - they will now go to VOICEMAIL ONLY. What you ignore, will eventually go away.

Unless you have a plan that actually includes "selective call blocking", this doesn't work. In my case, I have a basic digital phone plan for $20/month. If I want this option, I have to upgrade to a $55/month plan.If you could locate the actual company, perhaps a harassment charge would get it through their hands that you don't want to be contacted further. This worked for another company that bothered me on a daily basis.

Calls from 804-518-2490 out of Virginia..supposidly a company called Cardholder services. I pressed 1 at the end of the message about 2 weeks ago to have me removed from the list, the message said it would take 24 hours to be effective...well they're still calling, and every time I push to talk to a real person, I start to tell them to remove me and the [***] hang up on me...further pissing me off. The calls come at least 5 times a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if I let the machine take the calls they're more often, calling back every 30 minutes until I do pick it up!!!!
