I just got a call from this # too. Didn't answer it, and they just hung up in the message. I don't even have a credit card to lower my interest on. I am getting really sick of these calls, especially CRS calls which I get almost daily. I am on the Canadian do not call list, but I was informed it is bogus and they sell your numbers. I have actually gotten more calls since registering with it, so I can attest to that.

Some jerk called Michael (a recording) said he was with Cardholder services. We are on the Canadian DO NOT CALL list and IF the USA list would take Canadian area codes - you can be sure we would register there too. GUESS the USA list doesn't feel like getting these american nuicances off our backs... If everyone would refuse to deal with telemarketers and leave their phones off the hook while the call is in progress - perhaps they would quit calling when their phone bills get too expensive.

No details, Just a phone number.We get called by this (telemarketer ?)number every week to 10 days....even though we are on the "Canada-Telemarketer-Do-Not-Call-List". Does anyone know how to stop this without just getting patronized by a government agency?

I keep getting these same calls also. Have you read the article under Latest News at the upper right of this page entitled "Poll Finds Canada's Do No Call List Working Well"? Sounds like a comedian fabricated that poll, it's such a joke. In certain respects it's actually a very good place to leave another comment since it is very difficult for your MP to find all the individual numbers where comments have been left describing how the DNC system is not working. I'm sure somebody in government with nothing better to do with their time has been assigned to review such sites.

Forgot to mention that I am also on the Canadian National 'Do Not Call List'. Signed up for that on the very first day. Cannot say that I have noticed any positive effect from it, unfortunately.

Won't stop calling me even though I am put on their do not call list. 4 days in a row now, every morning. This is ridiculous.
