Don''t hold your breath on the DNC, that is a scam on the American public. I get all kinds of calls and at the point that if they are not someone I know I don't answer.
I don't think this is Nielson at all, I think this is connected with the fake card services scam at 208-482-1103. Every time I have had this "Nielson" number call within 2-5 minutes I receive a call from this number also, today I answered and took the so called Nielson survey. I have taken tv surveys before and this one was not done properly. They didn't even ask how many hours of tv are watched in this house, which is 0 because I disconnected my converter during the Presidential elections and never reconnected it. I get my news online and my tv viewing comes from Netflix and Amazon on Demand. So anyways I took this so called survey which was not a survey and within 2 minutes once again Card Services called, I answered and they tried to tell me my non-existent CC was having it's rates lowered. I swear it was the same voice on the other end.I should have asked when I would get my $5, since I looked these numbers up together last month when they called. It seems to be on a bi-weekly cycle.
All you have to do is tell them you have contacted a lawyer and are going to sue them and press harassment charges unless they remove your number from their list immediately. Once they take your number tell them if they call again after the 48 hour period of them removing your name you will press harassment charges and sue them to the fullest extent of the law. Changed the call center representative tone real quick.
This is a scam and the people who log on and say otherwise or claim they received money are probably employed by the fake CC services which calls within minutes of the fake Nielson survey. The first call is this number, and the second one is 813-366-9800. They do the first one to see who answers and is receptive to talking and then they try to hook the phish.Nielson themselves will tell you this is not affiliated with them, it is a scam.
They are screening people to be Nielsen families. I don't understand why they're pestering people but I agreed to do it. These are the TV ratings people, you guys. You can have a say in future and current programming. TV shows live or die by the Nielsen ratings.Next time your favorite show is cancelled for "poor ratings," blame yourself. You could've help save it.
