This number has been calling non-stop over the last few days - morning, noon and night (9:35pm cdt yesterday) - and ID states "Nielsen Ratings" 813-366-9800. Newsflash: This cannot really be Nielsen. This is the afternoon of the biggest hurricane in Florida since 1921. Tampa and the entire 813 area code has been evacuated. No one is sitting on a phone bank right now. The gig is up, whomever is using this number. Find someone else to harrass.

This telepest called me yesterday at 9:03 am but seems to have been stopped by my blocking service. From the comments here, it looks like this number has been active for over 10 years and counting now.

This people are really pushy. They asked for the youngest person in the household who I told them is a minor. I said he was doing HW and they asked when would be a better time to call. I mistakenly told them on Friday, until I found out they wanted to know what type of technology we have in the house which made me suspicious. When they called back I told them we were not interested in participating. Then they called back, saying I wasn't clear!!!! They persisted saying they actually wanted the youngest person in the house. I said I understood that and said he wasn't interested. Then she said she wanted to speak to him!!! Imagine the nerve insisting on speaking to a minor!! So, I hung up and went online to file a complaint and alert others.

They called, I answered with a business name. They hung up. Probably a Scam..

They are persistent - they tried again tonight but were already blocked.

If you dont recognize the number, dont answer the phone, jackwagon. And if your complaining about your minutes being used up you probably shouldnt have a cell phone to begin with, I mean how much does one minute cost? If thats the case, take the survey, 5 minutes, and get $5, thats $60 per hour dummy, the most you've ever made in your life.

They have been calling at 9:45pm after our kids are in bed. We never signed up to participate in a survey but shortly afyer receiving the junkmail and $1 bill they started calling every night. They won't stop calling and tonight when I answered I told the woman that I was pretty sure they are not supposed to be calling so late at night and to please take us off the calling list. She just went right back to reading her script and I hung up on her and went back to bed. I'm sure they'll be calling the same time tomorrow night. They are calling our local landline so they have no excuse to not know what time it is. Our kids get up very early and it's so difficult when they wake up after having just gotten them down to bed. They called but when I tried to answer, there was no reply so I hung up. They sent me $2.00 about 6 months ago to fill out the survey which I did and this call was the first of any notice since. I will NOT try to answer if they call again, because I have better ways to waste my time. I also am on the DNC list and I have an unlisted numver.
