This is what I'm saying. I asked them to feel free to continue sending me mail but please stop calling my home. They did and I'm getting free money to tell them I don't watch TV and on the rare occasion I decide to watch something to pass the time, I use Hulu. Free money to tell them that the internet is the way of the future, HECK YEAH!

We received a postcard in the mail prior to receiving this call. Our family has participated several times in their week long surveys. If you don't like the quality of television shows, then participate. It's just like voting in elections - if you don't vote, you have no right to complain.

I had several calls from them, never knew who it was. I was polite and agreed to do the survery and they sent me $30 and the books for my TV. You dont even have to fill out the book, just make down your TV is broke or something. You keep the $30 AND they will quit calling you! Ever since Ive done the survery I have not been bothered!

Guess we are on their list now. Calling many times a day. CID sezs.. Nielsen Med Res... Haven't answered the phone.

Calls every day at 2:30 p.m. PST.

I have been getting these calls at least twice a day for the last week or so, but I'm always at work or out when they call. I finally was around when they called this evening and I picked up (hoping they'd stop calling). Was a little weary even though the Caller ID said Nielsen, but they already had my name and address. The woman, Lisa, was very nice and joked a little too (she had to go through all these questions, including "you or anyone else in your household..." and then would say "oh wait, you already said it's just you.") Very polite and not pushy, and said she'd send me the "diary" to fill out for a week's worth of shows and I'd get $30.00. Hey, free money to help out with Nielsen ratings? Especially because I watch a LOT of television? I'm for it. And if they stop trying to call without leaving a message, that's a bonus :)

AT&T has a plan you can pick and get CALL BLOCKER. It will not let the number you put on it come through. (up to 10 numbers)

They are a reputable company that I have at least heard of for many years.We did their thing ang wound up with a dollar.How about that person reporting here that received $30??Filling out the week's survey reminded us how little of value there is on TV these days.One night we were going to watch a particular show but turned it off. We'd have been ashamed to report that we had watched such a useless program.I wonder if they are exempt from the Do Not Call list? Probably so, it seems most everybody else is.

I am beyond fed up with these people constantly calling throughout the day everyday. I am averaging 4-5 calls a day from them. I have told them multiply times to put me on their DO NOT CALL list and get nowhere. I am now to the point of answering and just leaving the phone off the hook. Maybe they will start getting the message as they wait for me to come to the phone. This harrassment is worse than a bill collector calling. They need to stop..... NOW!!!!!!
