NEILSEN RATINGS STOP CALLING ME! I'M DISABLED AND IT'S HARD FOR ME TO KEEP GETTING TO THE PHONE EVERYDAY DAY FOR YOUR RELENTLESS CALLS!
I got the first call on June 10, 2012 at 1:13 PM PDST. I did not recognize the number, so I did not answer. The second call came on June 12, 2012 at 8:33 PM PDST. Again, I did not recognize the number, so I did not answer. The tird call cam in on June 13, 2012 at 6:18 PM PDST. These idiot are relentlass. I'm goin to keep track, just to see how persistant they are.
Nielsen Media continues to call several times a day; when asked for them to remove us from the call list, they said they don't have to because they are a research firm. I am getting tired of these people calling!
Surveys are not covered under the Do Not Call list. Anyone conducting a survey can call you regardless of your registry. However, if they call you under the guise of a survey and then try to sell you something (not something the true Nielsen rating would do and not something I am saying this call does) then they need to be reported.
Told her I only watch porn on pay per view and asked her what she was wearing. Line went dead.
Received a call from this number again this afternoon, no one left a message. SOOOOOO annoying!!
These people are just doing their jobs, just like the rest of us. Try being civilized, hear what they have to say, take a few moments of your day to help something bigger than yourself, and they will stop calling. They aren't selling anything, they even pay you in most cases plus they won't bother you afterwords. win win.And for all of you who proudly claim your on the DNCR, and wonder why these "criminals" can get away with what they do, you should actually read what you signed up for. DNCR does not apply to charities, political organizations, and research companies/surveyors. So claiming your on the Do Not Call List when these people call actually makes you look silly b/c you don't know what your talking about.
I could not agree more. It is totally annoying to receive what so many calls a week and almost always no one on the call - just some robo dialer to see if you are home perhaps. I have asked them a zillion times to stop calling.
This phone number has showed up numerous times so today when they called I answered. They were wanting to ask me questions about what tv programs I watch. I told them to take me off the list and that this is a private line / that I do NOT appreciate unsolicited phone calls!!!! ***ANGRY****
I have received at least 10 calls from this Nielsen number. I complained to the caller that we are on the national Do Not Call (DNC) list, but he very quickly retorted that they are doing a "survey" and thus not covered by this DNC restriction. My phone service is with Comcast, and they allow me to set up selective call forwarding. So I set it up to automatically forward all calls from (813) 366‑9800 to Nielsen's New York headquarters at (646) 654‑5000. I have unlimited domestic long distance service with Comcast, so I don't care about the long distance charges. If enough of us set up similar call forwarding, we can give Nielsen the same phone spam headaches that they are giving us. How's that for a solution?!
