Receive several phone calls a day from MERCHANDISE PIC with no message.

constant calling and harrassment

Charity Clothing Pick-up. I spoke with Daniel and he said I will be removed from their call list. We will see?!

I tried blocking this number but was unable to do so because it is a 'charity.' So I called 636-282-0000, spoke to a real human being who promised to put my number on their no call list. She even had my address. Spooky! I am tired of getting these calls.

Same thing. No one on there. Should not have ansewered.

I just received another robocall call from (814) 881-1700. A little detective work revealed it came from Merchandise Pick-up. I called them @ (813) 882-8888 and a very polite lady assured me my number would be removed from their call list.

Like someone said earlier, simply call them back and politely ask them to remove you from their list. They guy was very nice on the other side.

They work with alot of charities. Above board and they will take your name off call list if asked to do so. They call me when I have scheduled a pick up to remind me they are coming.

IT IS A SCAM! THEY STOLE $588.00 OF MY MONEY ON NOVEMBER 30, 2012.... THEY ARE NOT WITH RED CROSS! THEY ARE NOT A MERCHANDISE PICK UP! THEY ARE LIARS ALL SITTING IN A LITTLE ROOM SOMEWHERE IN PLANT CITY, FLORIDA USING A VOiP PHONE WITH A FAKE ADDRESS!!!! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND GOOD AT IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They called me last night. The girl on the other end said, "This is so-and-so from the Red Cross - no not the Red Cross, we are calling on behalf of Disabled American Veterans. Our truck is going to be in your neighborhood picking up household donations or cash. Can you help fill our truck for us?" I asked her what was the name of the American veteran agency, and she was vague. I asked her if they had a thrift store. She said "No, but we sell your donations to thrift stores. They sell the merchandise and give the money to us. Then we give it to the American Veterans." I said I could donate some clothes. She sounded disappointed. I am going to call and cancel, as I donate my things to Salvation Army, and she couldn't give me straight answers with names of an organization, not even hers. For all I know it is just a thrift store picking up stuff for free. I also am on the do not call list, for all the good it is doing. I used to do calls like this for the DAV, and we were paid very well. I do not know where the merchandise went. Our message was the same, "Our truck is going to be in your neighborhood on......" Too many middle-men, too loose accounting.
