Don't bother trying to contact Schmidt—they use an auto-dialer and there's usually a delay of 2 to 5 seconds before they either pick up or make the next call. Instead, call Charity Clothing Pickup at 636-282-0000 and politely tell them that the way they conduct calls is highly irritating and that, because of that, you are no longer interested in donating and want to be removed from their call list.

This number too calls me constantly. I am on the do not call list and they still keep calling. Why would I help them when they call and annoy me with unwanted phone calls. I answered once and told them I am not interested in donating anything. I asked them to remove me from their calling list. They still keep calling.

If they are from the Red Cross then why did they say they are from my bank?

According to the below posts the number is legit. However they are playing the call/hang up game and looking for inbound traffic. Any company that engages in this behavior must be stopped. Even with good intentions as a probable cause they are ROBO calling and that must not be a behavior we accept for obtaining their goal. I say BLOCK any company that uses robo calls and hangs up making people miserable. If you talked to this company and did what they asked your hurting us all.However I don't believe this company has any good intentions or they wouldn't call and hang up. BLOCK and don't answer.

It doesn't matter if they are legit or not their spamming the American public and that is not acceptable to the majority of us. So they get scumbag rating from me. Especially considering the amount of robo calls I'm getting from them. Block and don't answer.

Received a call to my fax machine at 8:35 a.m. on 6/17/14. I returned the call, was placed on hold forever. I hung up and called them back again. When the woman answered she said, "Charity Clothing, please hold." She placed me on hold for more than two minutes and never returned to the phone. I hung up and called back again. When the woman answered I told her that I was getting calls from their number to my fax machine; could she please remove my fax number from their database. She asked me if my address was such-and-such and I replied no, it was not (the address she gave was very close to my actual home address) and asked her who the business was and why was I in their database. She explained that the person who had my fax number before me had donated to paralyzed vets clothing charity. She sounded legitimate; said she would remove my fax number from their database right away.

These idiots have called 24 times in the last month - and never leave a message. Maybe they are too stupid to realize I don't want to talk to them. Why can't we stop idiots like this from wasting our time??
