Received a call from this number. I was asked to verify some personal information about myself.

A female called my employee asking questions and wanting to verify my social security number, when I got on the phone, she hung up on me. 815-380-9533

I got a call from 815-380-9500 VERIFAX to verify my address information - this lady name ADRIAN PIERS/maybe this is her secret name knew my address history including my name and she was very calm like my mother, I forgot to ask her why she needed my address, when I called her back to ask her why was only answering system, I hope that she is not working for holywood because I do not want my info on their database........ I REGRET TALKING TO HER WITHOUT ASKING WHAT IS THE PURPOSE FOR MY INFORMATION. My advice to you DO NOT TALK TO ANYBODY who call you to verify any info about you - BETTER HUNG UP.....

Called my place of Business to verify Employment

Called me today looking for my sister. Told me it was an emergency. Didnt tell them anything. Collecting debt is one thing but lying is another.

just got a call at my job which i only started 2 months ago and have not listed ANYWHERE?? they asked me my name and birthday and i told them i dont feel comfortable answering any questions when i don't know what it is about, she said she just wants to update my info and asked again if my birthday was ** ** and i told her it didn't matter, this is my job and she should not call me on this number ever ! she said ok and sorry and hung uo !! WEIRD !!

I get calls from them about 1 or two times a week. I work in HR and I always tell them the same thing before they launch into their talk. "Per company policy I can only verify employment information with a signed consent form from the employee." They say they are a third party and cannot provide me with that info and I still them I cannot verify anything. I won't even verify our corporate address. The woman I spoke to on several occasions said her name is Addison and calls from 800-542-7434 ext 676.Moral of the story, if they are a legitimate company looking to verify employment for a credit check they will have a signed consent form from the individual. If they cannot furnish it then provide no information.

they called my work and just started asking to verify employment, pay, dates, etc. So I contacted the office since I'm the Office Manager and explained that unless we had a signed release from the individual that they were requesting information about, then our office would not be able to verify anything.
