English - demanded I state my named and told me verifax is part of the credit reporting buteaus

My employer called stating they had received something from Verifax wanting to confirm my employment and income. My employer asked if I knew anything about it. Of course I did not. I'm glad my employer called me to verify before they responded. There was not a signed authorization from me, so they knew it was suspicious.

I received a call at work from verifacts. She called my work which i do not give out my information ever. She started to give me info they have on file and i told her i do not know who they ae and don't ever call back here again

Person called asking about my job, if I work full time, my DOB, and my address! I confirmed NOTHING and told her I had to call her back and that I was at my job. And she provided me with a call back number and hung up

I just got the same phone called and told the lady not to call my job and I was no interested. Something to do with financial banking jobs.

I received a call this morning from Verifacts/ Verifax didn't know who they were trying to verify my employment then when I asked them who had them call they said they just try to update information for banks and schools so I started questioning her she then ask for the address to my job I said no I don't feel comfortable telling you anything she said ok I will say you declined to have info updated at this time I said ok thanks bye. I called the number back and told her do not call my phone anymore and I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I hope she gets the message loud and clear.

A lady named Lena Parker just called my work and left a number our HR to call back after she spoke with our Administrator and so I called it and was asked to verify the last four of my SS and my DOB and I said if you already have it why would you need me to give it to you and after a short debate I verified and asked her what her company was about. She explained that a business that I had conducted business with asked them to verify my employment and when I asked her which one she declined to answer and said that she would submit a contact request and they would get an hold of me. Well, we shall see. But I think I'm going to call the state attorney general's office because I have gone thru Identity Theft and it ain't no joke trying to fix what they did.
