Mine came up today Life changing moments on the caller ID. They didn't leave a message.

I picked up the phone without looking at the number. The caller said something, and I said "Hello." She then asked to speak to my "Mommy or Daddy." I told her they were both dead. She said she was sorry for my loss, then asked for something or other. I guess she wanted the adult in the house. At that point I told her that I was 75 years old. She said "Bye Bye."

CALLED TWICE ON JULY 4TH! LEFT NO MESSAGE.

These guys called just before 5pm today. As soon as I asked "who is calling" they switched to an automated message explaining they were giving a survey with 4 questions, etc. The original woman who called was gone, so there was no way to talk to a live person again, and request them to remove my number from their lists. So I just hung up, as I've done so many times before.Yes, I could file a complaint about this BUT.... companies doing surveys are exempt from the Do Not Call list rules. (So are non-profit fundraisers, political fundraisers, and anyone you may have done business with in the past.) The Do Not Call list is specifically for telemarketers and people trying to sell you something. There doesn't seem to be a safe way to complain about companies who simply harrass you daily, when you keep hanging up on them.

I'm doing all unknown calls this way from now on. The phone rings, my do goes crazy. I lay the phone down close to the dog and push talk. Let them explain things to my dog, and leave it connected for about 10 minutes. Just hope they have to pay for a 10 minute call.

I didn't answer. They are still calling.

Never say yes on the phone,say "correct"or ask something back.Or ask "why" they want you to push 9 push 0 instead.(which means negative)Besides if it's a survey who cares what you answered by mistake,at least they can't splice your yes answer or your 9 (= Yes.) I get calls from Europe and they mostly come up without a name.If I pick up by mistake,I scream like something awful just happened and hang up.I guess they found out about my whistle ;0)

CID says only "Illinois", 815 area code. Rang once, I blocked the number. I don't have any kids or grandkids so they are SOL.
