Call claiming to be from a 'real human being' but clearly a robot. This is a political effort to deny free speech under the guise of 'protecting our children.' They want you to press a number to indicate agreement with their agenda, without being very clear on what their agenda is.
I got a call from 815-687-8080 on July 11, 2014 at 8:57 am. I did not answer and the caller did not leave a message. My number is on the Do Not Call list and has been for ten years. My caller ID said, "LIFEGIVMOMENTS," whatever that means.
Got a call from the number @7:20 this morning. I'd been up most of the night with a sick person and the call woke me up when it rang & then went to my answering machine. They left no message.
I received a call from 815-687-8080. Caller id said 'LIFEGIVMOMENTS'. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know. They didn't leave a message. I searched for the number and found this page. Probably yet another scam.
The usual religious right-wing claptrap, softening you up with a phony "survey" and then trying to get you to sign something to censor movies and videogames "for sake of the children!!!1!!!". Tried to point out that we have a rating system that works really well to keep parents informed about what they're buying their kids, but these people, let us call them the American Taliban, don't want anything above a low PG to even exist, because "OMG, what if the kiddies saw/read it?!???! Oh, noes!" They want us all to live under their religion's ridiculous and anal-retentive version of "morals". I do not buy into the idea that idiots who want to censor anything remotely interesting that a grownup might enjoy have better morals that I do. Their closed minds creep me out. Does anyone really want to live in the 1950s 2.0?
From Life Giving Moments, 4 question survey on media content & family values & if internet sites should be rated like movies/tv rate. Another affiliate (stepping stones) "will call to discuss family friendly" media. So this co. is probably going to sell something & "will give a $5 credit". I agree something needs to help w identifying "bad" content. Not all parents monitor as they should, government should make sure a system is in place but should NOT control (as it's beginning to) what we watch--values start from birth. It would help to have a system in place so we know what we're getting. Now if there was a no cost system to keep "rachael" from card member services & "dave" (from india) from microsoft from calling...
Thinkin this is just another scammer. We've been getting a ton of them lately and it's hard to keep track of them all. Never leave a message and I don't care to call them back. Most calls come to the home phone, but I've had a couple on my cell as well. Made the mistake of answering one as I was expecting a call and the call was placed from my local area code. When the guy started to ask me for personal info, I faked a bad connection and hung up. They haven't called back. This stuff is getting rediculous!!!!!
Got this call this AM and I answered by mistake because I was still asleep. A woman addressed me by my first name and started with "we're doing a survey" I immediately said "I don't do surveys" and hung up. No one has called back.
This is a new one for me it's from Woodstock IL. Hey isn't that Snoopy comic character? Can't seem to find out much about this one yet so it's a brand new annoying person.
Its not a company that actually does anything. This is a type of social hacking that ask questions to get the information that they need to hack either your computer or cards used for transactions. Never give any information to someone that calls you. Report it to the do not call list. It will stop in a couple of days. God Bless and take care
