Received a call today. Answered and when they asked for my husband I said not home then a along pause than a robo call same person asked for another man said "Hi this is Amanda , I'm calling from Life giving moments , small cough"..Then nothing so I waited a bit and again and the same message from Amanda but with a different excuse me after the cough. Listened to 3 of the same message that ended after the cough for 3 different people. I never hung up the phone between messages. Weird.

They just called and I answered because someone in the house is sleeping and I didn't want the phone to keep ringing. Wanted to ask me 4 questions. First question, "do you think what kids watch should be up to the parents and grandparents?" I answered "DUH....that's kind of a no brainer, isn't it?" Second question was something like "do you think some of the entertainment out there today has a negative effect on kids ?" and I said "this is another no brainer.....these are some pretty silly questions" and at that she hung up on me. Never did figure out what she was trying to sucker me into.

Silly poofee number. Phone feature to block it. Party on!

Called and did not leave a message.

I believe we have reached a point in time that if you do not recognize the number calling then don't answer or answer and hang up. I do not see where the federal do not call list is working nor the state do not call list. If John Doe would run for President on that platform alone by promising to send these people to jail he would win office.

They wanted to sell some catalog of family-friendly (Christian???) entertainment.STRONGLY suspect it's an AI robocall. Very high quality.If you get a call from these people, ask it whether it prefers magenta or beige.Then what's 3+7.If it answers both, add a comment that this woman was real.

I got calls from several of these #'s also. Now I see a much clearer connection. Thanks for sharing the additional info.

Why should I have to buy a blocker. Why shouldn't THEY just stop calling

That is old thinking. True years ago, but not today. Do you lock your car? House? If there are no locks on your car, or house, would you buy some? Your phone is a direct line to you. Think of protecting your phone as exactly that.

They called this morning but did not leave a message. I never answer my phone unless I recognize the number. Most of the time I turn off the ringer. This way I don't have to the phone ringing all day. Caller ID for this number states that the call is from Illinois.
