I wonder if the FFC is undergoing furloughs with sequestration? Oh, and these people call me constantly! I would report them, but I don't think it would do any good. The FFC is probably overburdened already, and since I don't answer unidentified calls, I can't give them much information to go on.

Its a criminal scam. they try to get you to press 9 by telling you something like "this will add your name to our petition", or some other bogus reason. then they ask you to press 1, along with some other bogus reason, like to allow someone to call you back. They really dont want to call you back, they want you to press 1. this goes on until they get you to press the right sequence of numbers that will give them access to use of your line without your knowledge. They then can make calls around the world on your dime, and they can call pay numbers which can charge you several dollars per minute. Do not press any keys on any call with strangers. Call your service provider or phone company, explain what happened, and seek their advice.

This is just a new number for the same old deal! And reporting them doesn't work, just frustrates YOU. Not ONE in the government cares about this stuff. I've done it, does no good.

Got the same call from Life Giving Moments about kids and TV. - Really?Asked four questions regardless if I said yes or no that would participant in their survey.Each question's Response: I am unable to answer that question. And it was the way they phrased the question that I was really unable to respond to the question, and #2 it all was a bit Fishy about Kids.

Received a call at 10:30 a.m. on 23 May 2013. Caller ID said LIFEGIVMOMENTS. I had never heard of this organization so I didn't answer. This sounds like another one of hundreds of phony charities. Phone rang only 3 times, which is indicative of a robo call or scam telemarketer.

These people rang my mum's phone this evening around 5:15pm mountain time. The CallerID said "Illinois." I answered the phone. A woman said, "hello, ___________." She called my mum's first name, like she knew my mum. I asked who was calling - there was no answer. I assumed she didn't hear me, so I repeated louder, "who's calling?"She hung up.

They called and asked for me, when I said yes, its me, how can I help you? They said they would try at another time - HUH???? You had me on the phone, and then you didn't even listen when I answered it politely. Not that I wanted to talk to you, I was being polite.

Many thanks, kinda nullifies call blocking but at least I know some of their numbers. Life giving moments, how touching!
