Could be a problem. If you look at your #9 button on your phone you will see it has several letters W X Z and of course "Y". In phone lingo that means "Yes". You may have said Yes to some kind of offer.
Just received a call from this number, getting us out of bed. Why do these scam robo calls come so early in the morning. Why do they come at all. I am on the Do Not Call list, yet I constantly get these calls. These people need to be put in jail!

Since you say you didn't give them any information, they are not responsible for your credit problems. You probably dealt with some one last year who has shared you number with others...or some (supposedly) honest company was hacked and has not owned up to it.
A couple of years ago, there was a story about a guy in California, I think he was retired, who did what you suggest. He was successful several times and decided to make a "hobby" of it. I'll have to look and see if he is still at it.
Must be scam month........... first got a call from CTY........ "confirming" a date to come out and install a Senior Alert system and give me $3000 in food coupons........... big scam. Now, get a fall from LIFEGIVMOMENTS. I dialed the number back and was asked to press 1 to be placed on THEIR do not call list. Funny, I'm on the Governments DO NOT CALL LIST. Anyway, said my number would be "removed" within 30 days.... yea, right. In the mean time, filling an FCC complaint
Apparently tried to call me too from the above listed number, today, but in the past have tried from several of the numbers you have listed also. Listen to my answering phone msg. then as for the lady of house. What fools, to listen to answering machine and then still ask for someone!

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
