How did you check your Citibank account before you called this number ?Call the number on your bank statement or the number on the back of your card and notify them that a criminal now has possession of your personal information, and ask them how to immediately protect your bank accounts. Ideally you should go to a branch bank and present your identification and ask for help there.

It is citi bank credit card or best buy credit card debt collection

Have received several calls from this number for me and other members of the household, claiming there is an unpaid balance past due on a Citi Bank account. When I explained that I don't have a Citi Bank account they asked for my SS# to search their records. When I refused they connected me to their "collections" department, who asked me 3 more times to provide my SS#. I ended the call, then called the real Citi Bank, provided them with my SS# (since I knew whom I was talking to) and they said I do not have an account with them and the calls are not coming from Citi. It's a SCAM - BEWARE!

Received phone call... left VM stating they are with Citi Client First a division of Citi bank 1-866-680-8628. Last I checked I didn't have any Citi accounts...

Posing as a call from citibank. Requests to call another number 866-680-8628 regarding the matter regarding your accounts. They call frequently and leave voice messages every other or every third call. DO NOT call this number and definitely do not give them any of your information.I just verified with citibank this is a scam.The only numbers for your bank (any bank) are on the back of your debit or credit card.Whoever is posting information that this is a real call is part of the scam.

Always call during saturdays and sundays. Asking my account # to pay for my credit card

They just keep calling but don't say anything. They call at least 3 times a day.

I did miss a payment on my Citi credit card, so in my case it probably is them. However I can't actually speak to a person on the phone to verify this. They have called 5 times (so far) in the past two days, but when I answer the phone it is either silence or dial tone.
