I actually work for a bank... Like a physical branch... And if a customer calls in, we first have to pull them up in the system by either name, social or account #. Usually the social or account # works the best simply due to so many names being commonly used. Just a FYI
Received multiple calls today, 8:38am, 11:47am, 2:56pm. After finding this page after the second call, I decided I would answer on the next one, as I did, and they did ask for my husband by his full name. I said he wasn't available and the b*tch hung up fast. Next time I will answer with the name of a local police department...

They called again the following day at 10:21am. I answered (my town) Police Department, waited a few seconds, and repeated myself. Never heard it click over, nobody responded, call ended. They called again at 1:22pm, I again answered (my town) Police Department, and waited a few seconds, when a clearly American person started to ask for my husband, and naturally couldn't pronounce the last name, but I cut her off and told her she reached (my town) Police Department. She stuttered a bit and said said she guesses the number had changed and she would remove it from the system. Time will tell...
They call twice a day everyday!!!I don't answer numbers I don't know. This is very annoying!

they keep calling me asking if i am or know sombody
"Greater Nevada Credit Union Fraud Prevention" called and left message. We called bank directly, no prob with our cards or account. Incidentally, we always get a bunch of scam calls after posting something to Craigs List or FB Market Place.

Scotia bank fraud Dept calling about a change to my account
I just tried to log into my SS account and could see that this number was trying to get a code to gain access. This country is OUTTA CONTROL. Hey Elmo is this you and your teen gang?
SCAM - Caller with Indian accent claimed to be calling from Barclays credit card fraud department. Asked for personal information. Just hang up.
This number made an unauthorized charge on my PAYPAL account. I had no dealings with them.
