Why would you supply a suspected scammer with ANY info?? Now they know how long a valid Home Depot verification # is & some of the general digits used. Don't give a scammer any info.

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru.But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. They have called my workplace twice so far this week. The caller ID says CITI. Each time I answered there was no one on the line.

Callng on a Sunday. Scam

Have received over 20 calls between 10/18/2011 and 10/25/2011. Normally the line is silent when answered. On one occasion, a recorded message said hold for the next Citicorp representative and then hung up. I haven't a clue what the calls are about.

After getting 6 calls per day for a week I blocked the number and the next day get a call from the same "Citicorp" with a different number. I tried to block it and was told it was already blocked. This is harassment if you ask me. The calls continue

You are right!, BRS is part of the scam , people just call Citi bank make sure you don't have any issues then block this #, ID says Kansas Missouri but I bet it's the 866 Jamaican scams, they've just found a way to make it look like they are in the USA! BSR!!

This number and 815-420-4632 is continually calling my cell number my husbands cell number and our home that has an unlisted number. We have no credit cards at all and so it can't be that. We recently purchased a new vehicle and that is when the calls started coming so either the dealership sold our information or the lender and I am PISSED. They are costing me money each time they call and I have blocked the number on all phones but that does nothing . I want the calls to stop!!!!!

I also have citi bank cards and Home Depot cards. But I never answer calls that I don't know and screen them if they leave a voice message. This number never leaves a message, but has called at least 20 times in the last month. My bills are always paid on time, so there isn't a reason for these [***] to continue calling me.
