I recieved a call twice on this Sunday I finally answered and they said they were calling for Citi Bank. When I asked them why they were calling on a Sunday they said it was O.K. on a Sunday because it was a survey. When I told them I wouldn't talk them they said they would call again.

Someone called from 816-420-4632 saying it was Citibank Client Services,,Be aware of scam calls from this phone number.

they call home phone @ least a dozen times a day now there calling cell phone don't kno how they got my number it is citi card calling but can't figure out why bill is alway paid & on time

This is in fact a legitimate call from Citibank, inquiring about past due credit cards. It is through some sort of third-party phone bank and they mumble a lot and then ask for your payment information, so it really sounds like a scam. Better to collect any information they want to tell you, hang up, then go deal with your account online.

City Group services different credit cards. They call if you are late on payment, then they call back to thank you after youmake a payment.They are based over seas. Thats all.

I have varified this # as a valid CITIBANK #. However, their process has a lot to be desired. I, too have had many "robo" calls, i.e. four rings and a hang up. No message. I took one call, could not get a explanation for the call except it was not sales call. Would not tell me if there was a problem with any account. I would comply with the request for a citi account number. I told the caller to stop calling and send me a letter explaining the problem. The next time they called they left me a message to call but with no explanation. I called and again the lady requested an acct#. I refused to give that and they refused to tell me why they were calling. BUT, she said the only reason they call is due to a problem with an account and again asked for an account #. I AM NEVER OVER MY LIMIT NOR LATE WITH PAYMENT IN FULL EVERY MONTH. So get out your citi credit cards and call the number on the back of the card. I did. Found people with real customer service skills and a problem that was quickly resolved by phone. Too bad the citibank office that owns this phone number don't have such skills.

Tell us all about it scammer. This isn't Citibank calling, it's an offshore phishing fraud.

ERROR IN PREVIOUS MSG ABOVE!! I WOULD NOT GIVE ACCOUNT # INFO OVER PHONE> NEVER GIVE ACCOUNT INFO TO ANY ONE CALLING YOU!!

Have begun receiving these calls on a daily basis, numerous times a day. The caller ID states "Citi." I answer, and there is no one there. We are a church and do not have credit cards or any other dealings with any type of business by the name of "Citi." We also are on the NDCR, so not sure why they are calling.
