I keep getting calls from Anthony P Guarraci from from this number and other numbers pretending to be from Citibank.
They call from various numbers and I need to start blocking them. Actually, I need to make room on my phone to block more numbers. So sick of this Citibank scam call.
Received numerous calls. Last call answered and said they were calling from Sears and account past due because of recent purchase. Of course no recrnt purchases made. Spouse got on phone none too happy and suddenly nothing to worry about they'll take care of it. English not first language, probably4th or 5th from difficulty understanding.
About dozen calls from the number, ignored. If it was from any credit agency, then they would send me email. Then I always call back using number of a credit card. Plus I check my accounts twice per week.
Block the phone number. Most cell phones have that option. I have received two calls. Ignores it the first time and am blocking it after reading it's fraud.
I don't have any Citi cards and have been getting many of these calls lately. I've tried calling back and can't get anywhere because it asks for an account number which I don't have. Since these call just started recently I wonder if it's Costco related. April 1st Costco partnered with Citi Visa and is dropping American Express.
This number called and left messages for me 2 days in a row so I called back and they had no idea who I was but kept asking for my bank account info, credit card numbers, and social security number. I asked to speak with a manager so they transferred the call to 3 different people until 1 finally said, "There is no manager here." I repeatedly asked who this was/what company and could not get a straight answer. When I told them I was going to report them to the police they hung up on me. There is definitely something wrong here, and yes, I did report them to the police.

I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
