I called back and Verizon said that the number has been changed, disconnected, or no longer in service. Therefore the number is being spoofed. Obviously a scam of some sort.
Received a call from this number at 9:10 a.m. on my work phone. No one said anything, just hung up after a few seconds.

I have received a call from this number twice now in the last 3-4 weeks. I remember looking it up before since no message was left and it is not a number I am familiar with.
