First call yesterday - asked a question about confidential medical issues of an individual in the household not listed at the phone number. Reported it to FBI (www.IC3.gov) and local police as well as health care provider.
Cant do anything. They are not soliciting business so they are not violating the law . I say ALL calls not requested should be outlawed . If I want to do business I''l call them and if they call back their called ID should say who's calling and that should be made a law too .
This number called my mother and asked about me (my full name) and my mom didn't know what to say (because she doesnt know english very well) .. I'm really upset and I don't know whats that call about :s
call back and press #1 to be removed from their call list otherwise they keep calling sometimes several times a day- quite annoying.
Well let me tell you I started training for this company last night, but after a few hours into it, I was just ready to leave, they are the worst company ever, basically they want to trained you to be a human robot, they teach you what to say, what not to say, they need this information to prevent fraud, abuse of health benefits, I decided not to continue with this since I hate to bother people with this nonsence, you have no idea the working conditions they want you to work, I'm so glad I am not going back.
Call came from DSS Research 817-665-8325. I don't answer. They leave no message, but make no mistake, they will keep calling me. And I am sick of it.
Well as a regarded employee in this company, I would like to lay some of everybodys concerns to rest. The people that you are mad at are on a corporate level, not the people on the phone. I plead with you, leave the poor people on the phone alone. They are paid to read and react off of a script that they repeat 100 times a day, they're not personally responsible for the phone call but are instead trying to get a paycheck. You wouldn't like if every other person screamed paranoid nonsense at you during your shift! Now a little about DSS Research, the national health market research company. They have access to your name and phone number and tell your time zone by your area code. If you have a California number and live in South Carolina, nobody will know that and the only necessary reply is "It's past 9PM here." which they will either apologize, say by and hang up or they will ask when they can call back. Again, the phone interviewer does not actually WANT to call you back, nor are they just trying to be vindictive, it's called a response and is part of a script. They also have a general idea of the name of your health insurance company but not a single one of them actually care past that point. The people who do care however, are your health insurance company because they are paying for this company to conduct this survey. BUT FOR ANYBODY WHO IS ANNOYED AND NEEDS A QUICK ANSWER BECAUSE THEY CANT BE BOTHERED FOR 10 MINUTES OR COMPROMISE FOR A BETTER TIME, THERE ARE 5 MAGIC WORDS: "TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST." TRUST ME THEY'RE HAPPY TO OBLIGE ;)
