this call came in on my TRACFONE at about 6:56PM 12/29/08 EST. Since this is a pay-per-use phone and I don't know who this is, other than that's a Fort Worth #, I did not answer the call.
I don't usually keep my cell phone on but I was waiting for news about a relative who is terminally ill (had already received last rites) and in hospice care when I received a call from this number. Fortunately by the time I tried to answer they had hung up, but the number was listed under "Missed Calls." I was thoroughly disgusted to find out it was a scam call. My family is dealing with a dying relative and I get harassed by some scam using up my calling time. I will be arranging to have the number blocked.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.
