Constantly calls several times a day but never leaves a voice message. I have not signed up for [***] recently and NO ONE calls me on this number. Yesterday they forgot to hang up and it left a garbled message of background chatter and mouth breathing.
Rejected the number when I saw on my cell.I saw from one caller it was Humana. If you do get a prank call saying they're from a company you know, write down the number and give the company a call to see if they know the number. There was one once from a company that said "Check City", I called them and they say they didn't know and they copied the number and now it says "Fraudulent Call" on the ID. They were thankful we let them know because prank callers (especially those that come from India; there may be much more now from the recent earthquakes) give the companies a bad name.
You know, Jim, you got this right on the nose. The old rotary phones couldn't pick up these problems today like our cell phones, touch-tone phones, and the internet. We got all this great technology, and it's getting screwed up by vandals.I see that the government doesn't do anything to stop these prank calls, especially if you are on the "Do Not Call" list. Is this a Conspiracy Theory that the government is trying to steal your personal information? Or are they too lazy to do it so that they spend the money for themselves (especially on fast food places) rather than helping the innocent?
In order to be removed from there calling this you have to leave a voice message. I did not leave a voice message but instead blocked there number.
This number has called my husband's cell phone numerous times, trying to reach me. He has answered it a couple times, said he was told it's a research company regarding my health plan. Odd, as my health plan has my phone number. We are both on Do Not Call list, I will renew that and if they call again, someone won't like me.
