Fraud. Confirmed with BofA by calling number on my card. Also, letter was addressed to a non-existent company at my address, so was pretty obvious. Scammers are posting here to try and confuse you.Never send personal info out when requested without confirming with the official bank phone number, official website (the one google recommends when you type in the name of the bank), or someone at a branch.

Got a letter in the mail from BA today and it was requesting my SS#, but they should already have this information from me opening my account. I believe this to a scam. It was too odd and requested information that they shouldn’t need. Also the address on it was in Phoenix, but any statements I receive from BA have always come from Wilmington Delaware.

Fraud call from this number

Called my cell phone with an alert of a security breach on my Bank of America account. I was in a store and could not talk at the time. They gave me a case number to call the number on the back of my debit card. I called BOA and they have no record of this phone number. Its' a scam.

This is from Bank of America Compliance department. They need to update International address and Status if the information is old. I called Fraud department and they confirmed that it is from Bank of America only.

This is a legitimate number for Bank Of America compliance department. They wanted to confirm my phone number because another person used the same number when opening an account. So they needed confirmation of who's number this is.

Received call and called back. Bank of America Compliance Department validating some of my information. I called the 800 on the back of my credit card and asked if the number was legitimate. No verification from them and I felt the lady was too busy eating her lunch while talking to me. I will close by BOA account based on this telephone conversation. The BOA lady was down right rude and unhelpful. Beware!

Received a "reply required" letter in the mail from B of A asking for personal information. I could call the number listed on letter or send back a response. I called my B of A and this is a SCAM/FRAUD!Beware of this number and their letter to call this number.
