Called my cell today; number Cam through as ”+84 54789927” from Vietnam. (?!) Did not answer. The caller left me a voicemail with the same “your computer has been hijacked” theme mentioned by others. Phone number assigned to the voicemail was +1 (845) 478-9927 out of Union Vale, NY; searching for that number is how I got here. Both numbers are now blocked.
Robo voice claiming to be Microsoft help center. I've heard this scam so many times that I just blocked it. I feel sad that there are people out there who feel the need to scam for a living. Get a life!

Call received at 09:43 a.m. on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. No caller identifier was given, so I let the answering machine pick up. No message was left. The call originated in Calgary, AB.
