We get at least two and more phone calls per day . We were out of town two weeks and wow they don't stop. They continue to phone and phone and phone. Thank goodness this is our home phone. No one worth air to breath phones this number anymore. We keep it for this reason. I never ever give out my cell number or try not too. We can see who's phoning on our tv. and to whoever else has a need to annoy us with political garbage, or companies collecting for charities for a profit. And our bills are currant. Clean.
This is listed as Vale Lab, but I spoke to them, they said they were Com Ed and wanted to sign me up to drop my electric rate. I called Com Ed and they said no one had tried to make contact with me and that this is one of those companies that have you sign up for a different rate plan. You pay them for the electric and Com Ed delivers it to you. The same goes for Nicor. Lots of people sign with these companies. I have myself, but my phone is on the National Do Not Call List and they are not suppose to be calling me. So I am going to report them. I checked Com Ed's rates right now and it is 0.0619 per kilowatt hour, (a little over 6 cents an kh). This company is offering about the same price. The really bad thing is they told me they were Com Ed. Big no no....
No one there when I answered so out of curiosity I called back. It's a SSI survey. Recorded message gave instructions on how to opt out by email but she was talking so fast, I'll have to call back to get that info
SSI called a few minutes ago and asked if I was the person responsible for the ComEd bill. When I asked why, she wouldn't tell me, so I blocked the call.
