Came up on caller ID as SSI. The guy asked to speak to my husband. I asked "who's calling" and he said he was from some gas company. I told he we were not interested and to put us on the do not call list.
Two calls within 2 hours. No message left on the first call. Knew not to answer the second.
Been receiving at least two calls daily, for months, from this number showing as "SSI". Another person receiving these calls said it's: Survey Sampling International, I do see them listed when Googled. I started answering the last couple of days. Twice it was men stating they were with ComEd, and they were calling to verify my information for rate reductions. I stated that I don't verify anything over the phone, and either I hung up, or they did. One caller was a woman stating she was conducting a survey, I didn't wait to ask what for, just told her to stop calling my number. Just received another call this morning, he stated he was with ComEd, I screamed that they are not ComEd, and to stop calling! I'm now going to find out how to block these calls. So annoying and intrusive!
The caller, SSI, is a survey company looking for participants. If you wish to opt out from receiving further calls email them at optout@surveysampling.com. Include the phone number that you want them to stop calling.
Shee! They keep calling. I do take surveys BUT I do NOT want to do them on the phone. They've been blocked since 9/1 yet they still ring. Also known as ARLINGTON HE IL. If they're legit? Who knows. All we know is we're tired of these calls: 9/16/16 @ 11:26 AM CT
I have received 4 calls from this number - listened to one and got the same ComEd pitch, ignored the rest. Where do I report them?

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
