I received a call today on my "do not call" number from 849-963-4853. Steven (no last name) claimed to be with American Senior Services and wanted to sell me information on how to maximize Medicare benefits. He claimed to be calling from Fairfax, Virginia (hmm, the last time I check, the Dominican Republic wasn't in Virginia). I was able to keep him on the line for almost 1 minute before he hung up on me when I would not give him any of my information. BUT KEEP THEM ON THE LINE AS LONG AS YOU CAN WITHOUT DIVULGING INFORMATION! If everyone were to do these, we'd put these jerks out of business in no time flat because they would not be making any purported sales or obtaining information from others.

I just got a call from this number at 10:00 am. Phone rang three times and they hung up. Caller ID said "Name not found"

someone from this number, has been calling for at least a week and once a day. As soon as I answer the call, the line goes dead.

849-963-4853 this area code is Dominican Republic. Only rings two times. Name not found on caller ID. I will not anwser , nor will I call back . I have no curiosity, just yesterday received an alert exactly about this. Just know that I will not be someone who is caught in a financial scam on a phone number ,just because it rang my phone.

Got call from this number. Hit #1 to take off list. They answered. Told them to take me off the their call list. Others reported doing the same. But, if someone hits the #2 or #1, and gets one of their operators, has anyone reported actually getting a charge to their bill? You shouldn't as long as you did not originate the call. But I see that others reported the issue but I did not see if someone actually got a bad charge on their bill.

Received calls on 11/23 at 4:40 p.m.;12/19 at 4:40 p.m.; 12/20 at 3:28 p.m.; 12/21 at 2:41 p.m . Left no msg. on answering machine. Thanks for the tip of Digitone. I am going to check it out.
