Just got a call from 849-963-4853 at 9:19 AM this Christmas Eve morning. My phone showed it was from the Dominican Republic so I just hit answer + immediately stop before the answering machine answered. These people just don't give up do they? So glad all this information was on here so I could also report it. Looks like lots of people have received the same scam calls over an extended period.

Like most I have unjustly accused the Do Not Call Registry of being a sham. But there was a big article in the financial section how they are fighting this problem. They have tracked down and fined telemarketers millions of dollars. They can not keep up with all the new schemes getting around thier system. They have posted a $50,000 payout to anyone who can come up with a system to help them stop this. They have set guidelines on what the program has to accomplish. So anyone who knows how to program has an opputunity to make some money and stop all these people from calling us.

Just got a call from this # today. Will add to my blocked list. Glad to see others have posted.

Call from this number came i9n 31-Oct-2012. Caller ID reads "Name Unavailable". Phone rang only 3 times, and therefore did not go to ans machine. Redialed number only to receive an error msg that call cannot be completed as dialed; so, obviously spoofed number.Niver acknowledge or release personal or financial information to anyone or company that you do not know or have an established business relationship with.

I want these illegal calls stopped!!!

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER. DIDN'T ANSWER. I LOOKED IT UP AND IT IS FROM THE DOMINIONREPUBLIC.!!! WHAT KIND OF SCAM IS THIS NOW....................

I received the call this morning, the pre-recorded message about i"if you are a seniro on Mediaid, or sugg=fer from backpain, or diabetes... we can help... presss one to speak to an operator and two to be removed from the list." I pressed tow and recieed the message, "Your call is very imporatn to us, please wait to speak to an operator." Alhtough I pressed two to be removed from the list, I waited to try to speak to an opertor in order to find out exaclty who theses Gyspsies were. I watied and wated, and fianlly hung up; did a star 69 to identify the caller; called the number back, and was told it was disconnected; perfromed a star 57 trace on the number; then reproted the number to the FTC On-line complaint from which my be obtained by Googling FTC.gov. My home tlehone number is on the Do Not Call List, anyway!This reprot form if diffiuclt to corect typos when using it. I have to look at the keyboard to type. It isn;t fair to not be abel to edit once I have written my comments.

VERY TIRED on calls from this number ---all hours of the day and night. They just keep calling.

received this call at 9:45am stated name not found and they hung after 3 rings, I am on the NO Call List but still get calls from solicitors from time to time

Got a call from this number at 9:30 PM last night! First off, that is ILLEGAL in my state, and puts me in a BAD mood on top of it!They said they were from "Rembrandt Research". I chided them for calling so late, and heard the poor telemarketer, "but, ma'am.." as I hung up on her.Weird, no matter how many times I report to the DNC Registry, some numbers just keep calling! I wonder why that is?
