I have had to forward all the calls made to my elderly fathers phone to my cell phone - where I am able to block it - but got the 1st call today and no message. The only bad thing is I am not sure if they called my cell or his house - either way - Block It features are the best invention - that and reporting the number

It was an automated message."Hello. This is an urgent medicare message." (I hung up after hearing that).

I got one from Digitone (and, no, I do not work for them or recieve any compensation from them. I just bought one and it works great). They cost about a hundred bucks and worth every penny of it. To date, I have tracked over 2247 calls and have blocked 729 of them (a solid 32%). Most of these calls were from telemarketers, telescammers, politicians, survey takers, and zombie debt collectors. Now I have them all blocked. This thing will even let you block by area code and use wild cards so that you can block entire regions of the country. You can also use "white list" blocking by blocking all numbers other than the ones on your contact list. Once again, at least for me, life is good. An alternative might be to find a number that when you call it, gives you a message that the number is not in service. Then you use your selective call forwarding and send all of your unwanted calls to that number (or your ex, whichever). Good luck to all of you.

I got the call , wasnt home but checked it out as I guessed it was out of country call

On 11/20 @ 9:29 AM, my phone received a call from this number. Was not home to answer & would not answer even if home. In the past this area code was used to create huge bills for one call that would be placed on your home telephone bill. Your local carrier is obligated to collect it, This new call is apparently another variation of fraud. Don't answer call from this area code unless you know the caller. I am a retired police officer.
