This is Northstar Collection Services. They were contacting me regarding a debt with Barclaycard. Extremely rude. Ignored my request for a statement of debt multiple times. Spoke with "V," I believe. He spent the majority of the call talking down to me and explaining how debt collection works and offered multiple times that I could try to call Barclaycard directly, but that they'd never receive the call because my phone was auto-forwarded to their office. I wasted a good portion of his time being polite but firm and talking a lot, so that at least amused me.They stated that I would receive no calls after this date, so we'll see. If they continue contacting me, I'm really going to start wasting their time. I'll just start at chapter one of the first Harry Potter book and keep reading. :)

Threating me, calling me at Work, which i think the last time i checked they are not permitted to. Reporting them

I keep getting calls from an unknown number that shows up on caller I'd. Found out it was this number. Guy leaves a message asking for me about a personal matter but won't say anything else and that I need to immediately call him back at some 1-866 # and some extension. I'm not calling because they just want money I don't have.

Man calls asking about a student loan. When asked "a what?" He hung-up. Add this caller to your blocked list.

Called me in the middle of the day on a Thursday asking for my mother, and saying I was an emergency contact, with whom I don't even live with. I explained that and then proceeded to ask who this was and why they needed to talk to her (I was first concerned it was an emergency or something). All the girl "Teuh Jones" said was her name and that my mom had "personal business to discuss in her office". At that point I was like okay that's very shady. I told them i'd tell her they called and hung up after they repeatedly asked for her number.My question is; how the hell did they have my phone number and know my moms name? And now I'm here after googling the number. The world is scary, don't give these people any more info than they already have!!

I received a call from this number. The message said, "We are trying to locate Elizabeth Wood to service important papers". When I called it back, there was a generic message to leave a message but not company name. It's very suspicious.

Scum collectors.

The questions they want you to answer require you to say YES! Then they use sound equipment to record it. Then they edit it. adding what they want you to do is give them authorization to access or charge your credit card money, sometimes once, sometimes more. Check it out on your computer, scams wanting a Yes answer to questions!

I called the ftc on them and they still call every two days they are scammers and want your information they also have family members phone numbers they need to be stopped now.
