Well, after months of being jerked around by numerous incompetent Prudential Representative, my 82 yo mother FINALLY got two separate checks for a grand total of $1000. The whole process was ludicrous and took over 4 months to resolve and she rarely talked or corresponded with the same person twice. My mom never knew about these 2 policies and various different Prudential Representative kept asking her, what the policies numbers were (which were actually included in the letters they were sending her) and if there were other beneficiaries (Names which Prudential also included in some of the letters to her). Then to top it of they kept asking her how much the policies were worth? Something she never did know until they finally sent her 2 separate checks last week.Now what we have to figure out is, why they subtracted the interest which Prudential is supposed to have paid her as well. Something I'll be looking into this week

It's legit. We just finished dealing with them (more or less) and the left hand doesn't have a clue what the right hand is doing. Don't let them do like they did with my mom and shuffle you from one representative to another. Do everything you can to only deal with ONE Prudential representative and good luck

I got the official looking letter on Jan 24,2013-like others I had the questions and like a fool gave them my Mom's death certiicate info and of all things my SS #.It had the phone #1-855-277-8061 and thats the # I called.It also had 1-800-778-8633 for Hearing impaired.I talked to Danny-he said he would forward me a check in a few days.Leigh Foster's name was at bottom of letter as Associate Manager.I e-mailed main Prudential Office and got a weird write between these 2 lines e-mail my description of the transaction.Like others my Mom was 86,died in 2006 and I thought there must of been a policy out there I didn't know of.She worked years ago in an Insurance office and for all I knew she had another policy.I had believed the State of Illinois got all her assets.Now I'm setting here at 3:00 am wondering what the heck has happened and was I really stupid and if I didn't have an ulcer before I got one coming to me now.Is there a fool proff way to get the real scoop on Leigh foster-Prudential letter.
