I received a call from someone named Sanci telling me all about a Dr. named Fenser wanted to make an appointment with me. I said no to two offers to see him and finally let her set up the appointment for Nov. 4th at 1:00. I tried to call back this morning to cancel and was told the number had been disconnected, By the way her extension was 6446. I will not be home on this day and will refuse their program. This lady was just like a dog after a bone trying to make these appointments.
Yes that phone number is Humana and it involves a wellness checkup visit as described in their policy. Nothing to get alarmed about.I just went through that procedure. A 65 yr old lady physician came here for a couple hours to do a basic physical check up and fill out a long questionnaire about any physical problems. It was a pleasant experience and an opportunity to ask a physician any questions or concerns that I had concerning my health. I guess that information will eventually get back to the doctor.Seems like a good system to me.
My father got a call from this number saying that was Humana calling to set up an appt. for a physician to come to his house for a physical, He has one of the Humana programs. He call me to check this up because it sounded strange and suspicious like a pushy telemarketer, made him feel uncomfortable, a call from 855 area code number. I checked with Humana and this Censeo or Sensales health is not associated with Humana Advantage.
You are a complete fool. Using scare tactics on the elderly to MAKE them say, "yes, come to my house" is a load of crap.Once you have this insurance you keep it until YOU decide to change it. I agree with you on one thing though, PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK. ;-)
All of you who refuse this assessment are complete idiots. The point of the visit is for Humana to be able to budget correctly the amount of Medicare money they will need for each member. This helps costs and premiums either go up or down depending upon how many members they are able to see in a given year. Despite whether you think you are the healthiest person alive, a 30-minute in home visit once a year is not asking a lot. Although I can see how for some of you it may get in the way of Judge Judy or All My Children - God forbid! And to think it's an invasion of privacy? What exactly are you trying to hide? When the costs of your prescriptions and doctor visits go up, you'll have no one to blame but yourself. Also, Humana is a Medicare Advantage provider - if you don't want the home visit, go back to regular Medicare you incompetent morons.
Sorry about your cancer prognosis but I doubt it was discovered but this visit. I declined too. My doctor takes excellent care of me and that is good enough for me.
