I received a call from this number as well. I did set up an appointment, mainly to get off the phone with them. I contacted my doctor and he hasn't heard of that. Maybe if I needed some special equipment but not to do an assessment. It just seems fishy

I had received a letter earlier this summer from Humana but did not follow up on it. Yesterday I had a call from Censeo and allowed them to set an appointment for this afternoon. After I thought about it I did call Humana and they said it was legitimate. I have Humana Medicare Advantage but have no restrictions on my lifestyle so I called back today and cancelled the appointment. When asked why, I explained that I was not homebound in any sense, saw my doctor regularly, had all my recommended tests and check-ups, and didn't feel a home visit would be beneficial. RED FLAG -- to me anyway -- the guy told me that this was just a free service from Humana to check my health status and REPORT BACK TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY. Now I don't mind anyone tracking my phone calls, emails and the like, but I don't have a good feeling about this.

My mom received a call from this # saying that a dr. Was coming out to see my mother. The lady never gave the dr.'s name she said that the Dr will have a badge on. The lady said to be sure that my mom have her meds r a list of them and be sure to go to the bathroom. It sounds like a scam to me but i am calling in the morning and cancel this appointment.

I had a message from that # that said it was Humana, too. When I called back (because Humana is my insurance co.) I was told the person who originally called was busy and would call back. The call back (no number listed on my caller ID) said Humana wanted to send a Dr. to my home to check my BP and ask questions. I said NO WAY would I allow a stranger to come into my home. She insisted it was to better the communications between them and my doctor and that the visitor would have credentials.When I said a flat out "NO" she said they'd give me time to think it over and call back. I just hung up.

Don't believe that! This doesn't benefit anymore except Humana. Once they have their Doctor check you, then they can say that you don't really need whatever treatment your real Doctor has ordered for you. They get their Doctor to say you don't need it after he evaluates you. As far as I'm concerned, this is nothing more than a scam for Humana to skip out on paying for whatever medical treatment you currently receive.

Got a similar message today from someone claiming to be from Humana. They said there will be a doctor in the neighborhood (how convenient) on Monday and they can drop in to check up on me. The reason being - to work with my primary care dr who may not be informed of everything wrong with me. Good grief, I need another dr. like a need a hole in the head! I was still in bed when they called and said I can't make any decisions yet as I haven't had my first cup of coffee! If they call again I will politely decline.

They called me too and left message. Thanks for the info. Have not spoken with anyone there yet and doubt if I will. I agree that Humana should have alerted us about this company. Will contact them for more details.

Recd call from this #. Said they were calling on behalf of my medicare provider Humana. Wanted to let me know a licensed dr would be in my area for a wellness visit. I responded that I was not interested in the service. They said they would update my info to reflect that fact.

A MAN NAMED LEWIS CALLED SAYING THEY WERE GOING TO SEND A DOCTOR FOR EXAMINATION A DR. CARTER WHICH I DONT KNOW. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM TO ME. I NEVER LET NO ONE IN MY HOME I DONT KNOW. SO I CANCEL THE APPOITMENT. ALWAYS CALL YOUR PROVIDER BEFORE DOING ANY UNNESSARY VISITS FROM UNKNOWN. TO MANY CONS IN THE WORLD MIGHT BE SOMEONE WHO MIGHT HURT YOU.
