This is 100% legit number. I pay for Debix now (allclearID). they notify me if there is any activity linked to me or my family's credit report.
I just got a call from this number 855-434-8077. After researching it, I realized it was from All Clear, formerly Debix Identity Protection. I've had this service since my information was compromised in a voter records database hacking situation a couple years ago. If you're a subscriber, then I'd say it's a legitimate call, and you can tell because you'll hear your own voice key. However, if you don't currently subscribe to this service, then I'd assume it's a scam.
You're an idiot. This is actually All Clear ID, and their service is given free (or at little charge) by someone who has mishandled your credit. My insurance company gave me a year free. You signed up for it at some point, and yes, it is a legitimate call.
I don't know who these people are and why they are calling me. I called my bank and the bank personnel doesn't know who they are. I have not subscribed for their services. Really angers me as AT&T charges me for numbers on my cell if not a AT&T subscriber.
This is a legit company. My employer's financial records were compromised and my employer enrolled us in this program for two years at no cost to me.
This IS NOT a scam. It is perfectly legitimate. They are formerly Debix and the system is completely automated as it used to be. Just alerting me of my new student loans going into effect for the Fall Semester. Good service that is quick and easy. Always seems weird though because you don't really hear from them all that often.
If you get a call from this number, and email from AllClear ID (formerly Debix), pay attention. This company is legit and their services are useful.I forgot I had this service so I didn't recognize the phone number. But I received an email from the company that, "New activity has been detected on your account", saw that it was from AllClear ID, and returned their call. The recorded phone message said they had detected a new credit account, identified the company, and wanted to check that I was aware. I did, in fact, just get a new department store credit card, so I confirmed that I allowed it. I'm very appreciative to see that this service is looking out for me. It was not a telemarketing call, and I'm saving their phone number so I recognize it next time.
I don't get it. I received this call 2 days in a row from this number, and all the message said was LATER. I didn't call back. If it was from All Clear, they need to be more professional. Why would I want a company to protect me if they leave me messages such as this.
This company has twice left a message "This is All Clear ID calling for ......." and the name they say IS IN MY OWN VOICE, BUT it is my wife's name AND they are calling my work number !!!! Obviously at some time or another they recorded my voice and now they are playing it back, and I cannot figure out why. I did not register for any credit protection service, and neither did my wife. A really professional company does not do this, nor do they not leave a proper message as to why they are calling and they would leave a number where they can be reached. Even if this is not a scam, it is not a company that operates in a professional, courteous way. Such companies are to be kept at a distance.
