WHO IS THESE FOLKS CALLING? WANTING INFORMATION ABOUT CREDIT SCORE

ALL Clear ID/Debix is a real company. My credit union suggested I sign up with them a few months back because my personal details had been compromised. BUT, I never registered my phone number with them. I do get a few emails saying that new activity has been detected...I never call them back. I don't respond to emails. I never activated my account. But they keep on me. I think the credit union picked a company to monitor activity, so now they can say that they are being proactive in protecting me.I'm blocking there number next.

These guys are legit...As part of a class action suit settlement, I received a free multi-year account with Debix which later became AllClear ID (which is why I didn't initially recognize the name). In addition to monthly newsletters, I receive both an e-mail and voice-mail when something on my credit report changes.

these people keep calling me telling me that there are 3 alerts on my husband. I have told them to put uson their do not call list but they keep calling. I have filed numerous complaints to the fcc and "federal do not call list" but these agencies do nothing. waste of time filing.

Its Debix, a real company that does monitor your credit card actitivity and credits. You must be subscribe to it though to get these calls. If you are not then, call them and ask. The number you call back have option for you to request to speak to someone.

They are legit. If in doubt, look them up on the Better Business Bureau website. You can look them up by phone number on that site. It is a credit agency. I'm enrolled with them to monior my credit as we've had trouble with fraud in the past. They called me recentl because I had opened a new credit card and they were verifying it.

I received a call today from 855-434-8077 with the Caller-ID reading "TOLL FREE". Since I screen my calls, and do not answer any calls which I do not recognize, I let it go to voice mail. No voice mail was left.

Hi ladyhd1,I work for AllClear ID. It's quite possible that your husband setup credit monitoring with us and listed your phone number as a contact number for his alerts. Have him give us a quick call @ 1-855-434-8077. Once we get him authenticated, we can change his contact number if he requests to do so. AllCear ID is legit - I was signed up with them due to a breach of information. They just called and I put in the information I needed. They called back and I put the pin in and they told me that a new credit inquiry was made. I just opened a new credit card and they were verifying it. Good to know.

Received our first call from this "Toll Free Caller" that appeared on our Caller ID indicator. I listened to the recording in order to press whatever key to be 'removed from the list', but all I heard was "Press 1 to continue". So I decided to Press 1. It asked for my NAME and to that I replied loudly, "National Do Not Call List" and hung up.
