Have had about 6 calls so far from this number telling me that they are calling about a suspension notice from the federal crime and investigation regarding my social security number. They said it was very important that I call them back and repeated that again.
2 calls today from 2 different numbers with the same robot voice telling me the same thing. It says my SSN has been flagged for suspension. The other number was
It was an automated woman's voice informing me from the social security administration that my ss number has been cancelled due to a crime investigation and to contact this number.
This number called me claiming to be from Social Security about my Social Security number. They tried to claim that my number would be deactivated unless I cooperated with them. They were fishing for information, and that's usually a good indication that they are scammers. They are probably from India, or Pakistan, and do not like being challenged. They will get nasty, and then hang up.
