Got a call that left a voice mail, I am in Oregon where collection calls are not supposed to leave a voice mail by law. When I called I got the same woman whose voice was on the voice mail. They said there was a civil matter and the person at the number was involved in but they wouldn't provide any specifics. She said something about talking with a judge and the court to get the number removed but I know that's pure scare tactics. as if it is debt it's far past due/limitations if a fly-by-night collection agency has it.

These people call me almost everyday. They use my former married name and I've been divorced over 20 years so I haven't used that name. They say I owe for a Payday loan with advance America and I haven't bounced checks with Chase Bank. I've never had either. I've called Advance America and Chase customer service who advised they don't have any accounts for me. I've tried to tell these people calling that I know they are scammers but they insist they are sending me court documents. This has went on for at least a year. The person name is Sara Straiter

J P I received the same type of call you did. They said they had my name, SS# and before they filed a report they wanted my side of the story. I did call back and asked them for the name and SS# that was going to be on this report, then their B.S. started, rude like a lady above stated. you're right It's a scam,

855-764-8926 called today and automated msg said based on your ss# and name important info ...blah blah. I wanted to see what it was all about so I waited for rep who asked for someone named Vivian (not me) I asked how this person had my SS# and they disconnected the call. WTF?

I got a call 2 days ago about a loan I had from check I to cash which is now paid. They state that they will file a civil judgement against me if I don't pay them what I owe. I have a verified letter stating I do not owe check into cash. Let them file a suit...

I received a voice message from a Alison Schrader saying there is documentation place on my name and social security number and that she is assigned to review and get a statement from me before making a recommendation. Left a file number. When I returned the call, the message said they were IRP and Associates and to leave a message.

Just got almost the exact same call that has been reported multiple times on here. "Allison Schrader" wants me to call back because they have a "claim against my ssn number". I have gotten a couple of calls like this before. All of them have turned out to be scams. If someone will not identify their company on the message they leave on your machine, then most likely they are not legitimate. Be very careful what information you give to ANYONE who calls you on the phone.

Auto-dialer called stating they had information directly relating to my social security number. I hit 1 to speak with an associate and they were able to give me my maiden name & social but were not able to verify my address. I tried speaking to the man (who would not provide me his name or company) without providing any other information to him and he then was threatening me with court and legal action. When I asked what this was concerning he then began to get very aggressive with me and asked for my attorney's information or if I intended to retain an attorney. I told him to please send all information to my address on file and I would go over it and contact them with my decision. He informed me that everything was being recorded to be played back in court and got even louder and more aggressive with me. I hung up the phone when he would not let me speak, He then called back and began yelling at me screaming we will see you in court sir- SIR- SIR and began to threaten me again. I have blocked the number and recommend not to answer the calls.

I got an automated call, thought it was a different number I had asked to remove my name from their list. Call the number back, IRP (?) and this guy asked is xxx was my name, I said yes, and he said he was calling about an outstanding debt with check into cash. I've never taken out a loan with check into cash. I told him "nope" and he hung up on me. I called back, got some lady who transferred me back to the guy who I just spoke to and he started yelling at me and I asked him why he had a [***] attitude with me and he goes "you're the one with the [***] attitude!" so I asked what information he had, he said he had my name, SSN, address, etc. I asked him to share it with me and he said it would be on my court papers. Said this loan was from 2011.I've had these calls before, they are scams. Please don't anyone fall into their trap!

This company names as IRP and Associates has been harassing my wife and calling members of our family for days now. When asked specifics of the collection activity they are seeking they refuse to provide any. This is a well orchestrated scam with many participants in this office. All participants are very rude and unprofessional! Please beware!
