Just got a call from this number. Caller ID said: San Diego, CA and the phone number. What surprised me was the length of time they let it ring....at least 20 rings. I turned off the answering machine at about 10 rings. I'm on the Federal Do Not Call list. I never answer calls whose names or numbers I do not recognize.

Just got a call but no message left.

Just got a call and I asked to be taken off the list the "boy" on the phone said " and what are you gonna do about it if I don't". I said nothing and then he further insulted me by guessing things about my looks and age. There is a special place in Hell for these people

I, like the rest of you, receive these calls all the time. Our government is WORTHLESS, especially when it comes to blocking these calls. Your only other course of action is this: Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do not recognize. When you do, all you are doing is confirming for them is that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back PLUS they will sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too. If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does). If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list. Also, just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam. It doesn't work either. Also, I turn off my answering machine when I am home. If it answers them, then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number and they WILL continue to call you. Have a pleasant day. Sure am glad too for websites like this. Thought for the day: I Wonder what would happen if everyone stopped answering these calls. IF they got no more answers then would they just give up and die ?I will add that by using these tactics, there are days now when I have NO MORE phone calls from scammers! Only had one in the last three days now. Please folks, don't answer these phone calls. Use your caller ID's.

I have a huge "block" list now thanks to this site. I never answer out of state calls without checking here first, but this one being local 858 area code, I did.. block list = block list + 1.

Caller ID says "Sab Diego CA". They leave no message.I call back after business hours (using *67 to block my number). Their outgoing message is, "Hello, you've reached MDS communications. We're a telephone fundraising company that specializes in calling for nationally recognized charities, non-profit organizations, and political committees. Please, accept our apology if you do not wish to be called particularly if you have signed up for the national do-not-call list. As you already know fundraising calls are exempt from national do-not-call lists, and many people who have signed up in order to block commercial calls still like getting calls from their favorite charities. If you'd like to receive a call back from us, please, press 1. If you'd like to be added to our do-not-call list, please, press 2." (I never do the do-not-call list as it can actually make things worse).This number seems to be connected to a lot of SCAMS. I would not donate to a charity/political organization if I received a call from this number.

I get calls from all sorts of "phishing or scammer numbers". Especially from them damn solar power on your home, geez. My phone can only block 20 #s so it's full. So now my answering machine goes " Hello...hello...I can't hear you...cause I never answer callers I don't know. If legit leave a msg, if not hang up". No one leaves a msg.

called home number. already hung up when voice mail answers. dial tone during outgoing greeting. no message. typical time-wasting jackals.
