I received a call from 859-309-5128 but did not answer-- i called the number back- the announcement was to 'hold for citibank.'A male answered the phone and advised it was for Sears. I advised that i did not have a sears account or citibank account - he said he could only check with the account number or my social - since i was not giving my social to verify what he had - i said thanks and we disconnected ...but he sounded very uninterested in me - my information - sears - etc ....as if a lazy /bored employee ---- but i could be incorrect....
Got a call from this number. Did not answer and they left no message. I am blocking this number
I don't know why you all are claiming this to be from Citibank concerning Sears credit. #1 - Sears will not call you unless it's important and they WILL leave a voice mail message. #2 - I have a Sears store card that is in good standing, never miss a payment. #3 - ANY place that you can go (Federal government or otherwise) to report these scammers are USELESS! I have been reporting these for years to NO avail. They claim they have no way to track them. Another useless government agency to waste OUR tax dollars! JUST DON'T ANSWER AND BLOCK THE NUMBER!
