This is a legit Citibank number used mostly for their Sears accounts. They are a little shady with their questions but it is them. Sounds like a drive to get people to use their cards

Asked for my wife by name. Very rude. Demanded payment immediately for a fictitious past-due balance. Fortunately, she hung up and checked the account status online. Everything was good.
Called at 8:00am! Didn't answer, no message left. Saw comments about Sears card which I just recently acquired with 1st payment due this month and was already paid. I am convinced this call came from a lowlife scum sucking scammer! I am so beyond sick of this BS!!!!!
