Just got the call at about 9:15 PM (!)...did not pick up...wish there were a way to get rid of these annoying (that's putting it mildly) calls
Heres thier information maybe you should call them 10 times a day and hang up on them. Obviously these folks are trying to communicate with us so I suggest that you fax them repeatedly to ask them why theyrre trying to contact you. They can't sue you for faxing them over and over because they have created the relationship with you by calling you. Maybe a few (thousand) emails to these folk would help as well.General Contact Info:SIRS, Inc. SIRS is a company that calls to conduct market research. The solution is simple really. If you are not interested, answer the phone and say so. You will not recieve a call after that. By telling them that you are running out the door, don't have time, or are in the middle of dinner that opens up the opportunity for them to call back. Furthermore - Seeing the times that people are claiming to be called are ridiculous. It's not even possible to be recieving calls from this number outside of the following hours.Monday thru Friday 1-930Saturday 10-5Sunday 1-8
On Do NOT Call List as well !! Phone rang twice 12:15 Saturday 11th, & Caller ID showed "KENTUCKY". I tried to answer, but they hung up = just as well, I would have BLASTED them off the phone !!
I received two calls from this number this evening = I am on a do-not=call list - they are doing a marketing survey. I asked them not to call again and they called again 2 minutes later. 9:20 pm
We got a call from them tonight at 9:30! I understand that, presumably, if you've "had a relationship" with a company, they're permitted to call you, even when you're on the Do Not Call list. (Although I certainly didn't realize I had such with SIRS, and as far as I know, I didn't give the supermarkets where I shop permission to let SIRS contact me. I think I'll check on that.)BUT, "Solutions," when did the Do Not Call organization change the time permitted to make phone calls from 9 to 9:30? My understanding was that telemarketers could not call after 9 at night. (I also understood they could start calling at 9 in the morning--I don't believe they have to wait till 1 in the afternoon. Where did you get those hours?)Secondly, it's pretty hard to tell someone to take you off their rotodialer when there's no one there at the other end. Why on earth some idiot in management thinks it's a good idea to irritate people with what they're trying to sell (information to an organization) is beyond me--I'm not about to cooperate with some business that calls at bad hours and doesn't leave a message. I also plan to quit Wachovia/Wells Fargo because they've been doing the same thing; if that's the expertise of their management morons, they shouldn't be allowed to handle money. Last, I'll advocate again for what helps lower my blood pressure: I have a phone that can block whatever phonenumbers I enter into it. Yes, I had to read the instruction booklet the first few times I did it, but now I've put in 15 numbers (this one will be the 16th), and I can do it very quickly and easily. When I reach my limit of 30, I'll take out the oldest ones--they haven't called for months now.Although I do like the idea of faxing this organization . . . that does eat up paper on their end, assuming they have the fax machine on . . . .
Have rec'd 6 calls from this company in the past 2 days...Sat & Sun, mid-late afternoon. The phone rings twice, caller hangs up then calls back once. Call goes to VM but caller does not leave a message. Very annoying!
Wrong... I am witness to what the other poster stated. This number calls after 9 p.m. I even asked the person to remove my number, repeating my number to make sure she wrote it down correctly, only to receive further calls for #859-331-9707. You people are WRONG and something has to be done to stop your lack of regard for the public.
