They kept calling and this time I answered and he asked if I had anyone in my family that I could think of that needed a phone I said no iv already heard of that offer and then he asked if I had used a tablet that was clearly the other offer and I said I had a tablet then he hung up on me seems very unprofessional to me
No, they will not. They will continue to call until the END OF TIME. It's ten years after you posted this, and I'm still getting two calls a day from this number, and they never bother to leave a message.

Amusing that when I search what this number is and first thing that pops up on this forum about this number being a Telus telemarketer is a Telus advertisement lol.
I've received NUMEROUS calls from this number... I've called back and spoke to someone, explained that I am not interested and they assured me that I wouldn't receive anymore calls.. yet the calls kept coming. Finally I was able to answer in time before it got to voicemail. It was Telus trying to get me back as a customer. I told the guy on the other end that I have had numerous calls and I am not interested; there is a reason I left Telus and I've been told that I won't be receiving these calls anymore and threatened to call the CRTC on them.

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
