It was a machine saying that I had defrauded the government and the IRS is filing suit against me.
I assumed this was a scam as well because i do not have a Home Depot Account... It is not a scam! It is actually Citi Collections calling about overdue accounts. I took A LOT of extra steps to confirm this including actually calling the number on the Home Depot website while on the phone with the caller. They were understanding and patient. We ended up determining that my phone number had been used on the over due account, but all other information belonged to someone else. The area code was entered wrong for the City/State the account was in. Do your due diligence before you assume its a scam!

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
