They repeatedly call for someone who is not at this number, including Sunday early in the morning, and they are always asking me, even after I tell them it is a wrong number, if this is my HOME number. There is something very fishy about them, esp. as they continue too call.

I am paying my bills and get called from this number 20-30 times a day. I quit answering a long time ago.

I get several calls a day from these idiots. I told them they have the wrong person. Now I don't stress out over the calls anymore. When they call, I answer and start singing in a really loud, bad voice. Usually I sing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" (in April, lol) or 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. Then I hang up! Or else, I answer the phone, then take it in the bathroom and put the phone near the toilet and flush!

They call me every 15 minutes. Its insane. As long as I still get a bill from care credit I am not paying these people.

In summer of 2010 (two years ago now), I had $5,000 worth of critically needed dental work (massive infetions etc). I have been $200 a month all this time, and recently they sent a statement saying I owe them $4,800. WHAT? I have already paid them over $4,800!!! I called legal aid and was advised to go with a debt management plan, which I have done. CareCredit has been notified, and I cancelled the credit card so it can never be used again. It is a difficult time for me -- major health problems resulting in partial disability, forced early retirement, and financial stress. I never intended to default on this account, but their interest rates are as high as 30%. Then in January I became the victim of identity theft; my checking account was wiped out; I had to close all my bank accounts and start over. I keep getting letters from the IRS that someone is trying to file electronically for a huge tax refund using my name and social security number. This has to stop. Finally, this morning at 7:59 am, I was awakened by a phone call from this number. I did not answer. They did not leave a message on my answering machine. They are no longer allowed to harass me. I wanted to report it here, and now I'll go to my phone provider and have the number blocked. See how that like getting that message next time they call.

2:43pm 4JUN2012 got call from 866-652-3145 on my non-published landline that is registered on the FTC 'Do-Not-Call' list. Caller ID displayed 'TOLL FREE'. No voice message left on answering machine. SOP at this house is to let all calls go to answering machine. We can choose to return calls to only those who leave a proper voice message.

I received two calls from these people but did not answer. I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number or name. When I called back the woman I talked to said they had no record of me.I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor managed to pull up my account from their closed accounts file.They got my number from GE Capital Credit, a company I've had two credit cards through. One from a closed regional electronics chain and the other with Lowes. Both accounts were closed and paid off. I will no longer have a credit card through any merchant that uses GE Capital Credit.The people I talked to were nice and said they've put my number into their do not call list. We'll see how long before it takes effect.As a side note. Along with filing complaints with the FTC and FCC, I now also file complaints with my Federal Congressman and Senators. Maybe if Congress gets enough complaints they'll force the FCC and FTC to enforce the Do Not Call act.

Excessive Calls. Once a day is sufficient.
