I called this number after they left a message. I asked how do I know you are Keybank. He said call the number on the back of my card. I did. There were 3 fraudulent charges being held.from going through on my checking account.

IT is a real Key Bank #. I called the Key-2you number and got the fraud dept and my CC had a charge they flagged but was legitimate.

Just checked my account after this number left a voicemail. There was not any activity on my account that I did not recognize. Also, then called key bank and they did not have any records of them calling me. Total fishing and their are a bunch of shills posting on this to make people think it is legit.Key actually called it a phishing call.

I didn't answer the call. Got a voice mail stating the call was from Key bank and to call back regarding a withdrawal of some sort and to give them a 4 digit number that turned out to be the last 4 on my card. I did call back...the person answered: "this is -so and so- at Key bank what is your first and last name". I gave him that and gave the 4 digit number. He said he needed the complete number. I told him no way would I give that out and then asked where he was. He said "The Philippines"...I told him I would just go to the bank to see what was going on and that was fine with him. I did go to the bank. The Key bank teller told me it was a fraudulent call. So, you people claiming this is a legit call are either lying or else you have been cleverly deceived.The call type is marked "prank" but is actually a fraudulent phishing call.

Because the first posts to this page said this was a scam, I did not call this number. But to be 100% sure, instead, I called KeyBank directly and navigated through the greeting message until I got to the Fraud dept. Hold and behold, there was a $425.39 transaction in my debt card from GameStop, and I was able to put a stop to my card and get a new one in the mail.Bottom Line: Always call your bank from a number listed on their website, not from a number left in your voice mail!

This is KeyBank.. they have contracted out their fraud detection service to a Business Processing Outsource (BPO) provider in the Philippines. This is a very common practice for corporate America these days. Most major banks are doing this now. So please.. be nice. A vast majority of Filipinos are very nice and trustworthy. In this instance, the gentleman solved the issue and provided a local number to use during my travels in the Philippines.

I received a call today, Sunday, 10/4/2015. The caller stated she was from Key Bank, left a phone number to call, and a case number. I DID NOT use the number left, but instead called 1-800-KEY2U. In this day and age it is NOT wisdom to just return an unidentified phone number. Yes indeed, KeyBank confirmed someone was trying to make fraudulent purchases on my debit card.

This is legit. Called back expecting a scam. Turns out my key bank master card number was stolen and someone in Italy tried to charge 3000 dollars on it!

They asked me about two possible charges that were made on my card.

866-821-9096 is the Key Bank Fraud Dept.. they did call on a Sunday. I contacted Key bank's fraud department Monday morning via the 800 number just to set my mind at ease. My card had been closed, fraud claim filed and new card would be issued. Great job catching the crooks KeyBank!
