This is a jail call. They do not charge you if you answer. It will tell you who the call is from and you have the option to accept the charges, set up an account or decline the call. You have to push the yes button a couple of times to be charged. Calm down, it might be your cousin....
This is not a freaking scam... it is 100% real..a real person in jail trying to get ahold of u...I have been dealing with these calls for a yr straight!! From a person I know very well!!! It is a true call..I have an account set up where I dont have to pay the 9.99 a call but when my inmate account is empty I get a call from this number... before I set up my securus account I received a call from this number I was accepting it becuase I knew he was in jail I answered the first time and then set up an account so it didnt charge as much..again its very real ...
Some facilities dont have a securus account to set up so it wont work for all jail/prisons but its not a scam.....
There r places on the Internet that say they ar securus.. but spelt diff. Those are or maybe scams..but the number that called is not.... if u try to set up a calling account for an inmate and it is diff. Then SECURUS...it may take ur money. .I was looking for a cheaper way to stay in contact with a l Ioved on in jail and it took 100$
