Received a call from this number at 7pm. Thanks for the tips, everybody...I knew it wouldn't be anyone I know, and now I have a pretty good idea what they're up to. Either response to their alarmist internet ads is slowing down, or this is a competitor trying a different approach.The sad thing is, there will always be people falling for either one...people who are intelligent enough to use a computer and even the internet, but not quite savvy enough to recognize these scams.

Received a call from this # today (4/02/14) @ 6:08PM. Of course, hoping someone would answer since they are assuming it is DINNER time. Did NOT answer since I know NO one at this # and knew they would not be leaving any messages. Interesting to read what others had to say, especially from "Too Much Time on Their Hands". Interesting to find out that this # is from St. Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean. This is surely a scammer and no reason for me to answer or talk to them. I hope anyone they call do NOT answer them and 'maybe' in time they will stop. I know it is just a dream and yet hopeful.

called 4-4-14 at noon. They just don't seem to get it. Makes me want to set up my fax to this number. :)

Received a call from 869-999-9999. Based on other posts we now have it blocked. This call came on a business cell phone. Our staff has been getting calls from someone purporting to be from either Microsoft or Geek Squad wanting access to their computers to "fix" a mysteriously reported problem. We have warned everyone to just hang up on these call if they are picked up.Caller ID said this call was from St. Kitts.

I get a call from this number on a daily basis. Finally answered the call, nothing then they hung up. I tried calling it back but since I have a pay as you go sorta deal, I couldnt connect the call. Caller ID says its from St. Kitts & Nevis. Still no idea what it is. Havent gotten any extra charges or anything like that.

I keep getting calls from this number!!!!! Is there anyway to shut them down? I am on the DNC list but it's not helping.

I also get calls all day every day for the past 2 weeks - even on the weekends - I have never answered but am annoyed at the amount of calls they are bothering me with.

Just received a call from 869 999 9999 and didn't answer call,and no message left, date April 8th 2014 at 8:40 pm' called tht number and Verizon Wireless answered and said that I wasn't subscribed to call that international number, but I could enhance my service to do so!

Call all the time... I see it is the We need to fix your computer scam that has been going on... Block it and forget it. Caller Id is probably spoofed anyways, so I doubt they are in St. Kitts anyways. It is your phone doing an area code lookup as my home phone just says the number over again for the "name" field. Since they are scamming, does anyone REALLY think that they will follow a Do Not Call List? That is the least that they are worrying about.
