Just got a call from 869-999-9999 and i picked the call up, just noise in background. i hate that billion dollar verizon doesnthave anything to help customers block calls. mayb scam companies send them money?this # is probably going to call over and over...UGH.

Well....I got referred to this company by my friend! Who said she has been using this company for 4 years!! He called me last night (Friday...just like Lanib said) and he said my friend told him to call me! Proceeded to get me to allow him mobile access to my computer! Charged me $200 out of the $500 for lifetime support! I realized later when I went onto my caller id that the call was from St.Kitts....he said they were based out of Ct!! When I asked them why it is coming up as that, they said the call must have been rerouted!! Come on we live a couple states away!! I called back for a refund and told them that I was going report them! She told me that her supervisor was on his dinner break!! They spoke in heavy Indian accent and seemed annoyed when I couldn't understand them!! I am currently canceling my debit card and waiting for their supervisor to call me back!!

I received a phone call from this number practically everyday. They sound Asian possibly fro Thailand. I cant even understand them they want to help me with my computer? I don't know. They get an attitude and snarky when you ask them to take your number off their list.

Same thing happened to me this evening ... noticed that they were calling several times and I finally picked up and a foreign accented / Asian gentleman claimed that he was tech support from Microsoft and my computer was at risk. He wanted me to go to the computer and he was going to help me with tech support. I told him to stop calling my home and he said "ok".It is a scam and similar to what others noted above.

Just got an 869-999-9999. I'm sure glad I have caller ID, but what is the value of the national Do Not Call list? All four of our phones are on that list and we get marketing calls 10-15 times a day on our home phone.

Recd call claiming to be representing microsoft. My computer was causing some errors on the internet. Asked me to open a run window using the window/r combination and run www.ammyy.com which I did not do. I did a quick lookup of what ammyy.com was and it is a remote access computer program I asked the person on the phone why I would allow them to connect to my computer. This is when they claimed to represent microsoft. I told them no way and suggested they send me an email detailing what my computer was doing and.....and thats when they hung up. This a total scam phishing attempt to gain access to my/your computer. Hang up and do not ever allow anyone to connect to your computer.

Have called my phone several times. I blocked the number so now it goes directly to voice mail. When I check my call logs I see that they continue to call. I will never pick up if I don't know who is calling.

These morons keep on calling even though you have told them to stop calling. They are some [***] trying to get you to give them access to your computer that really does not have any problem with it. They will look around and put who knows what on your computer possibly then causing a problem or recording your bank passwords. it is not only a scam but a invasion of privacy as well as breaking the do not call list registry rules.

We have received quite a few calls from this number (869) 999-9999. Caller ID said Out of Area. I figured with a number like that, it had to be a scam. I've never answered the call and after reading the above comments I am glad I didn't. I have now blocked the number so when they call again, my phone will just hang up on them!

This number keeps calling my cell phone although I have never answered. All times of the day and late evening and Sundays.
